OBJECTIVES

- • Identify oil and synthetic organic based fluids and the types of chemicals used in organic drilling fluids, their chemistry and effect
- • Determine drill-in and completion fluids, aims, designs, beneficial aspects and completion brines
- • Discuss environmental aspects of drilling/completion chemicals and implement testing criteria and validity
- • Monitor and control daily consumption of chemicals in a professional manner
- • Discuss standards, rules and legislation
