Day 1
- History of Slickline
- Well Completion – Theory
- Slickline Units and Powerpacks (Zones) – Theory
- Weight and Depth indicators – Theory
- The Wire (Type -Tests – Log Books) –
- Pressure Control Equipment (What must be controlled)
- Barrier Principles
- Shut-in Procedures
Day 2
- Basic Toolstring Components / Up-stroke Jars
- Basic Service & Remedial Tools
- Running and Pulling Tools
- Locks, Standing Valves and Landing Nipples – Theory
- Running – Setting – Equalizing & Pulling process – Theory
Day 3
- Gas Lift theory
- Set and retrieve Gas Lift valves
- SCSSV’s theory
- Plugs (PX plug setting and pulling)
- RIH Set and Retrieve FB-2 Baker 2.75″
Day 4
- Practical training including access to actual well
Day 5
- Memory gauges, Types and Classification
- Memory gauges Sensor types.
- Memory gauges Programming and Executing
- Appraisal’s
