Kuwait Oil minister visits Eurotech booth in KIHSE 2015 Exhibition
Eurotech, the leading consulting and training company in the region concluded its participation at the Middle East’s most prestigious Health, Safety and Environment Conference and Exhibition (KIHSE 2015) as the main training partner, that was held on the 16 and 17 of February, under the patronage of Dr Ali Saleh Al-Omair, Minister of Oil and Minister of State for National Assembly Affairs.
During the launching ceremony Al-Omair visited the stand of Eurotech and was introduced to the CEO Fady Jawad, who took this opportunity to introduce him to the training services the company offers to the human resources in the oil sector in Kuwait as well as the region. Jawad has presented a brief about the history of the company and its achievements in the past years, while the minister praised the efficiency of Eurotech and its capabilities to expand and offer its services beyond Kuwait all the way to the region.
During the exhibition, Eurotech showcased all the training services it offers in the fields of health, safety that grabbed the attention of the visitors and interested parties, which reflected the company’s expertise and capabilities in the training sector on both local and regional levels, and its commitment in being part of the various activities and event that takes place in the regional as well as internationally.
With regards to the participation, CEO of Eurotech Fady Jawad said: “ The KIHSE Conference and Exhibition was an excellent opportunity for professionals from the oil and gas industry to share experiences and build fruitful relationships with stakeholders. We are very proud to witness the success of Eurotech by the time we concluded our participation at the conference, as we have closed so many contracts with major companies, stressing on one of our major deals that includes training more than 300 employees of managerial positions at the Iraqi Oil Company, where we will be training them and conducting the courses in Turkey and Dubai. We also got the opportunity to present a special deal to the Kuwait Petroleum Company and its subsidiaries to train their employees on aspects such as health, safety and environment in accordance with the highest international standards currently in place. “
Jawad also explained how the HSE conference and exhibition shed the light on Eurotech, where a lot on international companies have visited the stand and showed their interest in possibilities and ways of benefitting of the expertise and services of Eurotech, considering it among the most important oil companies to cooperate with when offering their services in the Kuwaiti market and the Gulf region.
Noting that the importance of the courses provided by Eurotech in health and safety is the practical training that is based on international standards, as well as how to protect the environment and ways to avoid industrial accidents and preventing pollution that may occur due to mistakes, the training also includes introduction about the basics to avoid infections and injuries in addition to guiding employees on how to deal with accidents, the basics of driving in the oil sites and the use of first aid along with implementing evacuation and emergency plans in the oil fields.
